Storyline/Plot
A group of unrelated individuals are killed by an energy pulse emitted by a mystery object that crashes on Earth. They are later re-awaken to discover that they have been held accountable for averting the apocalypse.
Scientist Vera Ivanov is rendered unconscious by a shockwave caused by an enigmatic spacecraft that descends to Earth in a dazzling flash. When she wakes up, she discovers that she is somehow related to four strangers who passed out simultaneously: Joshua Jr., a second-generation televangelist; Peter, a disturbed high school student; Raul, a federal agent attempting to avoid an undercover assignment; and Erin, a young woman attempting to shield her daughter from an abusive ex-husband. And they all awaken with powers that cannot be explained.
